Stunning, wonderful location in Warwick, right by a great pub with great food and breakfast options, the centre of the town, and a pretty square in the heart of the town. Very very helpful and knowledgeable staff with knowledge of the place: )

Lively place with pleasant staff.
Different chefs on different days produced wildly varying standard of food

English breakfast available with good quality ingredients and exceptional taste, as for instance. Magnificent, brilliant location not far from the Rose and Crown's restaurant, the centre, and the square, accommodating staff. Also, set away from main pub.

The hotel was perfectly situated in the town centre close to bars and retaurants. The bar in the hotel had a very friendly lively atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly and provided everything we needed for our stay.

This hotel is excellent! The food was fantastic (the cote de boeuf was probably the best i have ever had!) and the room was superb.
We were lucky getting parking (it is free on the pay and display outside between 5pm and 9am) but if these are full i think parking might be a struggle.

The hotel is in the centre of the town. It is clean, comfortable and the room was a good size.
No parking and when we arrived the staff were not very helpful. Check-In is at the bar of the pub and entrance to the rooms is via the pub.

Noise from outside and other guests. Breakfast area, cutlery and crockery not very clean. Breakfast included in rate was meagre.

The room in the pub was quite large and comfortable. The breakfasts were very good as well. The pub had a promotion on giving free toast at breakfast if you bought a tea or coffee. This made breakfast time quite busy but added to the atmosphere from early morning.
On the first day our breakfast waitress seemed to be having an attitude problem. She (eventually) took our order, but I dont think she gave the order to the kitchen as 25 minutes later we were still waiting. Another waitress came on and she had our order delivered within 5 minutes. In the room is a welcome tray with the usual range of teas and coffee, but no milk! You have to go to the bar to request milk. Rather defeats the object doesn't it ?

Spacious rooms, friendly but non-intrusive staff, full breakfast included, nice bathroom, reasonably priced, very central location, nice big windows that opened.
No screens on windows, no a/c, noisy from downstairs pub.

Absolutely magnificent!! The staff truly cannot do enough for you. The place is amazing, the food was excellent, and the facilities are great! I stayed with my partner and our 15 yr old daughter (who is normally very hard to please) so that we could visit the sites and the castle..it was tremendous. Absolutely perfect, and even my daughter agrees! She was sad to have to loeave and we are all booked up ready to go again in july and august!! I promise you this hotel has everything you need. And if it doesnt, they'll go out and get it for you. Everything is within walking distance, there's shops right in the square where the hotel is. Plenty of pubs, bars, restaurants, everything!! The castle is literally on your doorstep too. The room we had was massive, double bed and a large single for our daughter. Tv, dvd, tea+coffee making equipment etc. lovely!! The room we had was well equipped ( I am very high maintenence!) and there is a jar of home made cookies for you in your room. Bathroom is beautiful too. Have read some reviews on here that are quite negative and this might put you off but believe me this place is beyond lovely. And if a 15 yr old says so, then it must be right!!
Only had 1 cookie as they'd forgot to fill the jar!! Oops! Asked for some more though, yum yum! Also could've done with a clock in the room as I had to keep looking at my phone for the time. Hmmm or maybe I should just buy a watch haha!! The noise from the bar downstairs in the al fresco seating area underneath our 1st floor window was nothing like previous reviews has suggested. It was minimal despite being a scorching hot evening. Nothing more than you'd expect really. And the bar isnt open all night so you can still sleep if you need to. Other than that, everything was perfecto!!!!!

Great spot for a weekend!
The breakfast was seriously amazing! We loved the location, super handy for the festival. The room was a decent size, but we had two singles pushed together for a double bed, kinda annoying. Our windows let in way too much light at night.

We thought the staff were excellent. The food was very good and the room had the best shower we have ever had in a hotel room.
There was a lot of noise on the Sunday night - from music from another venu E. Obviously not the fault of the Rose & Crown. We had said on arrival that we would be leaving early on the Monday, however, when we went down to breakfast at 7.30 we were told that they didn't know anyone was coming down early and we had to make do with cereal and toast.
